Kottke Jewelers has proudly served the Owatonna community since 1919. Founded by Carl Kottke and John Jurgenson, our store has stood as a symbol of quality, tradition, and heartfelt service for over a century. Originally offering everything from fine jewelry and watches to crystal, china, and even fountain pens, Kottke Jewelers has grown into a trusted destination for bridal jewelry, custom designs, and expert repair services.

For decades, the Kottke family stewarded this legacy. Carl Kottke set the foundation with his craftsmanship and community spirit, which was carried on by his son Bill and daughter-in-law Faye, and later, their son Matt. Known for their exceptional service and deep ties to the Owatonna community, the Kottke's built more than a jewelry store—they built a trusted institution.

In January 2022, a new chapter began when Lauren Kozelka, a dedicated community member and long-time store manager, proudly purchased Kottke Jewelers. As a young woman, wife, and mom of two, Lauren brings fresh energy and a heartfelt commitment to continuing the legacy of excellence and personalized service that has always defined Kottke Jewelers.

Though the ownership has changed, our values remain the same. We’re still right here on the 100 Block of North Cedar, offering fine jewelry, trusted repairs, and a warm, welcoming experience.
